Hendrix Picked for Northwest Arkansas Business Journal C-Suite Award

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – W. Dan Hendrix, president and CEO of the World Trade Center Arkansas at the University of Arkansas has been selected as one of the 10 business leaders profiled in the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s “C-Suite Awards.”
Hendrix has guided the center since its inception in 2006, working successfully to increase exports from Arkansas to other countries and opening up contacts for Arkansas businesses with customers around the world. He’s quick to share credit for the center’s success, however.
“Without the vision of then-Congressman John Boozman, the generous support of our statewide partners, our world class facility, the University of Arkansas and, of course, our capable dedicated staff, our success would not have been possible,” he said.
Hendrix worked in the transportation industry, and specifically imports and exports before joining the U of A Advancement Division as director of corporate and foundation relations.
The C-Suite Awards are intended to honor top local business leaders and recognize their accomplishments, effective leadership and significant community contributions.
