Army ROTC Awards Nine Students With Scholarships

Abigail McVay received a four-year Army ROTC Scholarship including tuition and fees plus $1,200 per year book allowance.

The Army ROTC of the University of Arkansas has awarded 9 students from all over the nation with scholarships to attend the Fayetteville campus. 

Abigal McVay of Collierville, Tennessee, was awarded a four-year scholarship including tuition and fees as well as a $1,200 per year book allowance.  She will also receive a monthly stipend as freshman of $300, sophomore $350, junior $450 and senior $500.

Jarrod Almond of Wichita, Kansas, is another four-year winner.

Three-year winners are Jacob Mayfield of San Antonio, Texas; Jonathan Johnson of Russellville; Andrew De Nome of McKinney, Texas; Philip Woodruff of Plano, Texas; Janice Peterson of Hot Springs; Erik Alejandre of Garland, Texas; and Samuel Schwartz of Bastrop, Louisiana.
