Supply Chain Research Center to Host Conference
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Supply Chain Management Research Center in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas is sponsoring its 10th annual day-long supply chain conference on Thursday, March 17.
Held in the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development, the “Global Supply Chains in an Ayn Rand World” conference will feature Yaron Brook, renowned speaker on capitalism and objectivism. For online registration and more information go to the Conference website.
“In addition to Yaron Brook, we have planned a full program of international trade experts and supply chain panelists who will explore country policies, politics, trade barriers and logistics networks that both limit and espouse global free trade,” said Jim Crowell, director of the Supply Chain Management Research Center.
Brook is a renowned lecturer on capitalism, objectivism, business ethics and foreign policy, and his articles have been featured in major publications such as the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Investor's Business Daily.

- “The State of International Trade Competition and Regulation” – Angela Hofmann, senior director, trade strategy, Walmart Global Sourcing.
- “Free Trade, Globalization, and the Real Skinny Regarding NAFTA”– Stanley E.
