College Of Engineering Names 2003 Outstanding Faculty

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. Recipients of the 2002-2003 University of Arkansas College of Engineering faculty awards were announced earlier today during the spring college faculty meeting.

Faculty receiving the College of Engineering Outstanding Teacher award were: Marty Matlock, Biological & Agricultural Engineering; Greg Thoma, Chemical Engineering; Kevin Hall, Civil Engineering; Amy Apon, Computer Science & Computer Engineering; Fred Barlow, Electrical Engineering; Richard Cassady, Industrial Engineering; and Darin Nutter, Mechanical Engineering.

Faculty members named the College of Engineering Outstanding Researchers were: Indrajeet Chaubey, Biological & Agricultural Engineering; Rich Ulrich, Chemical Engineering; Steve Burian, Civil Engineering; Brajendra Panda, Computer Science & Computer Engineering; H. Alan Mantooth, Electrical Engineering; Scott Mason, Industrial Engineering; and Steve Tung, Mechanical Engineering

Those faculty members receiving the College of Engineering Outstanding Service to Students award were: Julie Carrier, Biological & Agricultural Engineering; Jim Turpin, Chemical Engineering; Rod Williams, Civil Engineering; Russell Deaton, Computer Science & Computer Engineering; Terry Martin, Electrical Engineering; Terry Collins, Industrial Engineering; and

Rick Couvillion, Mechanical Engineering.
