Ben J. Altheimer Moot Court Competition Final Set For Friday

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The Board of Advocates of the University of Arkansas School of Law proudly presents the prize round of the 2003 Ben J. Altheimer Moot Court Competition at 3 p.m. Friday, April 4 in the Leflar Law Center Courtroom.

Second-year law students Chad Gowens of Pensacola, Fla., and Jennifer Heaney of Alread will compete in the final against fellow classmates Shawn Johnson of Fort Smith and Kris Knox of Heber Springs.

The prize round of the competition will be argued before the distinguished panel of the Honorable Richard S. Arnold, the Honorable Lavenski Smith, both of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth District, and the Honorable Wendell Griffen of the Arkansas Court of Appeals.

A reception will follow the competition in the Dean's Parlor of the Law Programs Center.
