Faculty, graduate students and postdoctoral researchers are invited to participate in the first U of A-UAMS Research Showcase from 11 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at the Institute for Integrative and Innovative Research.

The showcase will bring together researchers from the U of A and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences to exchange ideas, learn about one another's work and identify opportunities for collaboration.

Participants are encouraged to bring a research poster to share during the informal poster session. Posters previously presented at conferences or other events are welcome; there is no need to prepare a new poster specifically for the showcase.

The poster session is intended to create space for informal conversations. By making it easy for researchers to see the breadth of work underway at both institutions, organizers hope the conversations will reveal shared interests, complementary expertise and possibilities for future collaborative projects.

The event will also highlight the Razorback Research Catalyst program, a joint U of A-UAMS initiative supporting high-impact, multidisciplinary research teams.

The showcase will be held at I³R, 793 W. Dickson St. in Fayetteville.
