Sharing Spaces: A Sunday Supper Invites U of A Campus and NWA Community to Connect

The University of Arkansas campus and NWA community members are invited to gather around the table for "Sharing Spaces: A Sunday Supper," hosted by the Center for Community Engagement and the Multicultural Center on Sunday, Sept. 20. This event will bring together students, faculty, staff, community members, and campus partners for an evening of food, conversation and connection.

Inspired by and a part of Engage NWA's Welcoming Week theme, "The Places We Share," this supper is designed to create meaningful opportunities for participants to develop relationships and learn together. Attendees of Sunday Supper will enjoy a free community meal while participating in guided conversations focused on community, belonging, service and civic engagement.

Conversation prompts placed throughout the dining area and facilitated by student leaders will help guests connect through shared experiences and perspectives. The event will foster a welcoming environment where participants can strengthen relationships and develop a deeper understanding of the communities they share.

In addition to sharing a meal, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about volunteerism, civic engagement and other initiatives taking place across the University of Arkansas and Northwest Arkansas communities.
