U of A faculty and staff are invited to share their ideas, expertise and experiences at the 2026 Better Learning Together conference, a virtual event taking place Thursday, Oct. 22.
The conference planning committee is seeking engaging, interactive 45-minute sessions that showcase innovative ideas, effective practices, research, tools and real-world experiences that support better learning and teaching. This is an opportunity to connect with colleagues and share approaches that can inspire and inform others across the university.
Session Tracks
Proposals may be submitted in one of three conference tracks:
- Blueprints: Practical approaches, ideas and practices that can be adapted and applied to support student success and effective teaching and learning.
- Learning: Strategies and approaches that focus on how people learn, including evidence-based practices for engaging learners, supporting deeper understanding and creating meaningful learning experiences.
- Technology: Technology-focused practices, tools and resources that enhance teaching and learning, including Blackboard features and capabilities.
Proposal submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2026. All proposals will be reviewed by the conference planning committee, and selected presenters will be notified after the review process is complete.
Faculty and staff interested in presenting are encouraged to submit a proposal through the conference submission form. We look forward to learning from the innovative work happening across the U of A and bringing our community together for another Better Learning Together conference.
