Apply Now for the 2026-27 Division of Student Affairs Student Advisory Board

Students, now is your time to get involved and make a difference! The Division of Student Affairs is now accepting applications for the 2026-27 Student Advisory Board. The board is composed of undergraduate, graduate and online students who provide direct feedback on the student experience at the University of Arkansas. This is your leadership opportunity to voice your opinion and help inform meaningful change on the all-encompassing elements of campus life.

The Student Advisory Board helps shape the work of the division by sharing perspectives on student access, well-being and belonging, post-graduation success, and the overall campus environment inside and out of the classroom. Members engage in open dialogue with Student Affairs leadership, offer their insight on campus issues, and then collaborate on initiatives that will strengthen the student experience.

Members will receive a $250 scholarship each semester in recognition of their service and are expected to attend four of the five monthly meetings that take place throughout each semester.

Meetings and the new-member orientation will be offered in a hybrid format to ensure online students can fully participate.

Serving on the Student Advisory Board offers students a meaningful leadership opportunity to influence campus priorities, elevate student voices, and grow their career-ready skills. You will actively be practicing critical thinking, building communication skills, and collaborating with fellow students in a way that will be directly transferable into your diverse professional careers.

The applications for the 2026-27 Student Advisory Board are now open on Hogsync. Students from all academic levels and backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Applications will remain open until Aug. 28, and new members will be notified on Sept. 1. There will be a new board member orientation held on Sept. 4 from 2-3 pm.
