Speech and Debate Seeks New Membership

Fresh off our most successful season yet, the University of Arkansas Speech and Debate Society is looking for new members!

Unlike many competitive speech and debate programs, we don't hold auditions. Whether you competed throughout high school or have never given a speech or debated in your life, you're welcome here. No experience required — just an interest in learning, competing, and being part of the team. The best part? You'll be learning alongside one of the top three speech and debate teams in the country, and making invaluable memories along the way.

You'll get to meet our team and leadership, learn what speech and debate at Arkansas is all about, and watch two of our varsity debaters face off in a live debate. We'll also talk about tournaments and travel, practices, events, what you can expect as a member, and answer any other questions you have.

Remember: No auditions. Any level of experience is welcome. Just come see what we're about.
