Reminder: 150 Forward Reaching Higher Kickoff Event Today

The University of Arkansas is launching the next phase of 150 Forward Reaching Higher on Monday, Aug. 24, at 10:30 a.m. in the Jim and Joyce Faulkner Performing Arts Center. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend.

The launch event will include details about the full activation of 150 Forward Reaching Higher including transformational goals to drive initiatives, a clear roadmap to reach those goals, and the newly formed Transformation Management Office that will help accelerate our progress, support the campus and maximize the university’s impact. 

The transformational goals include:

  • 80% six-year graduation rate
  • $500 million in annual research expenditures by 2032
  • 2,000 additional graduate students
  • Experiential learning for all undergraduate students
  • AI literacy for all undergraduates

Chancellor Charles Robinson, Provost Indrajeet Chaubey, Vice Chancellor Margaret Sova McCabe, Senior Associate Vice Chancellor Amy Ochoa and Kevin Hall, director Transformation Management Office, will present and be on hand to answer questions from the campus community.

The kickoff also will be live streamed on the University of Arkansas YouTube channel.
