Event: Intern, Work, Graduate Study in Germany!

Want to intern, work or go to graduate school abroad? Join us to learn about a number of programs in Germany for your undergraduate years and your career after graduation:

  • Ms. Nicole McKellar, junior in biological engineering and German, will discuss her research this summer on sustainable soil health. This work was part of the DAAD RISE program, which offers competitive paid internships at German doctoral labs for students in biology, chemistry, computer science, physics, earth sciences and engineering.
  • Ms. Emily Voight, senior associate director for the Office of Nationally competitive awards, will discuss Fulbright English Teaching Assistantships. This program places recent grads in paid positions in schools abroad to teach English and foster mutual cultural exchange.
  • Dr. Chelsea Hodge, Honors College director of grants and research innovation, will discuss other DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst, German Academic Exchange Service) opportunities.
  • Dr. Kathleen Condray, professor of German, will discuss opportunities to attend graduate school for free or reduced cost in Germany.

This event will be held Thursday, Aug. 27, at 6 p.m. in Gear 258. All majors and Honors/non-Honors students welcome! Register on Hogsync by scanning the code in the image above or by going to https://cglink.me/2uB/r403539.
