The Student Involvement and Leadership Office and the Center for Community Engagement invite students, faculty and staff to attend Service on the Hill on Friday, Aug. 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Union Mall. This new event offers the U of A community an opportunity to connect with local nonprofit, community and student service organizations to discover meaningful ways to get involved on campus and throughout Northwest Arkansas.
Whether you're looking to fulfill service requirements, develop professional skills, meet new people or support a cause you are passionate about, there is a place for everyone to get involved.
Organizations will be stationed throughout the Union Mall, sharing information about their missions and the positive impact they have across the region. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet organization representatives, sign up for future volunteer opportunities and learn how their talents and interests can make a difference in the community.
The event will also feature music, food and be a welcoming space for participants to engage with community partners.
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to register in advance through Hogsync and stop by anytime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to explore opportunities to serve, connect and engage!
