The National Association of College and University Business Officers announced Jamie Loftin will serve on its 2026-27 Board of Directors, a group of expert higher education leaders who will steer the association.
Loftin has worked at the U of A for nearly 19 years, starting as director of accounting for the Sam M. Walton College of Business and, since 2015, holding the position of assistant vice provost for distance education administration at the Global Campus. She holds an MBA from the U of A and plans to complete a doctorate in higher education in December.
"I look forward to representing the University of Arkansas in this role and contributing to NACUBO's work supporting colleges and universities across the country as they navigate the challenges and opportunities facing higher education today," Loftin said.
Loftin's three-year term on the NACUBO board has begun and runs through July 31, 2029. She also serves as first vice president of the Southern Association of College and University Business Officers, one of NACUBO's four regional associations. She is slated to assume the SACUBO presidency in May 2027 and has been on the SACUBO board for eight years.
