A new semester brings new opportunities to learn, get involved and make the most of your Razorback experience. Whether you're a first-year student, graduate student or returning Razorback, the U of A offers resources to help you succeed from day one. Here's a quick checklist of things to do before classes begin, along with links to campus resources that will help you stay connected, informed and ready for the semester ahead.   

Your Fall Semester Checklist 

Plan Ahead 

  • Visit HillFest (Aug. 17) and Razorbash (Aug. 19) at the Union Mall from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.  
  • Check out Welcome Week events (Aug. 19-28).   
  • Attend Service on the Hill: A Community Connections Fair (Aug. 21).  
  • Add important academic calendar dates.  

Stay Connected  

  • Follow @uarkansas on social for updates and announcements.  
  • Open Arkansas News Brief in your inbox every Monday to read daily campus stories from across campus.  
  • Join a student organization through HogSync and find campus activities on the campus calendar.  

Set Yourself Up for Success  

Know Your Safety Resources  

  • Download the SafeZone app and bookmark safety.uark.edu.  
  • Update your RazALERT information for emergency notifications.  
  • Save Safe Ride (479-575-SAFE) in your phone.  

Take Care of Yourself
