It has become a tradition for the College of Education and Health Professions to partner with the college community, friends and alumni to share its WE CARE message far and wide over the summer break through playful social media campaigns.

This summer's theme: WE CARE On My Mind.

The visual aids: Hats, beanies, headbands and visors, all featuring the WE CARE logo.

At the college's end-of-year morning meeting, Dean Kate Mamiseishvili revealed the various head accessories, inviting faculty, staff, students, and alumni to snap photos of themselves wearing them while out and about this summer. Members and friends of the college are invited to keep WE CARE on their mind by posting their snapshots on social media, tagging the college (@uacoehp on Instagram and Facebook) and using the hashtag #WECAREOnMyMind.

For those interested in a little healthy competition, the college will choose the best photo entries in several categories, including the farthest-away, hottest and coldest destinations; the most historic site in Arkansas; the best view on campus; the photo with the most WE CARE head accessories; and the photo with the most creative use of a WE CARE head accessory.

WE CARE is an acronym for Wellness and Education Commitment to Arkansas Excellence, and it is at the heart of all the college's goals, strategies and action items.

Last summer's "WE CARE Fans" campaign was a social media success, with fan club participants posting photos from their adventures worldwide while holding specially made foldable fans. The first year's focus was "WE CARE Everywhere," and supporters snapped photos with scroll banners promoting the theme. WE CARE summer campaign photos have depicted faculty, staff, students, friends of the college and alumni on tractors, underwater, atop mountains, next to historical landmarks, on study abroad trips to Ireland and Sweden, at new student orientation and at conferences like the STAR Summer Institute, the Arkansas Athletic Trainers Association and the Association of Teacher Educators, to name a few.

Dean Mamiseishvili looks forward to seeing where the hats, beanies, headbands and visors travel this year. "I hope to see many fun photos as you keep WE CARE on your mind this summer," she said.
