Kohl Stover recently joined the Division of Advancement as assistant director of development for the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences. Stover brings nearly a decade of experience in financial planning and services, most recently advising clients in Northwest Arkansas on financial planning and advanced giving strategies.

"We are confident that Kohl will have a positive impact on Fulbright College and the university," said Scott Varady, vice chancellor for advancement. "As an exceptional alumnus, we know Kohl's role as a development officer for Fulbright holds a special place in his heart, and we are grateful for his service and commitment to its mission."

As assistant director of development, Stover will assist the director and senior director of development in furthering the college's fundraising priorities through strategic internal and external support. He will also steward a portfolio of donors and alumni, helping advance key initiatives across Fulbright College through cultivation, engagement and philanthropy.

"We are especially proud to welcome Kohl back to Fulbright College as one of our own," said Brian E. Raines, dean of Fulbright College. "As a Fulbright alumnus, Kohl understands firsthand the transformative power of this college and the opportunities it creates for students. That perspective, paired with his expertise in financial planning and philanthropic strategy, will make him an exceptional partner in advancing the college's mission."

Before joining the university, Stover worked in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for a financial services company, where he partnered with small businesses and their employees to better understand retirement and benefits planning. Most recently, he helped clients in Northwest Arkansas navigate complex planning decisions, building the kind of trust-based relationships that are central to advancement work.

"We are thrilled to welcome Kohl to the Fulbright College development team. His genuine talent for building authentic, lasting relationships will be instrumental in strengthening connections with our alumni and supporters," said Becca Bradley, senior director of development for Fulbright College. "As a passionate Razorback fan, Kohl also brings a personal enthusiasm for the university that will further enrich his work and impact."

Stover earned his bachelor's degree in geology and held leadership roles in the U of A AAPG student chapter. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his young family and volunteers with the NWA Food Bank.
