Faculty Appreciation Week Events and Giveaways to Be Held April 6-10

The Office for Faculty Affairs has planned a week full of events, giveaways and special discounts to celebrate Faculty Appreciation Week April 6-10.

"Our faculty are at the heart of our mission and the driving force behind everything we do," said Provost Indrajeet Chaubey. "I am deeply grateful for their extraordinary commitment to research, discovery, creative work and service. Their work not only advances our university, but also shapes a better future for our students, our state and our nation."

During Faculty Appreciation Week, faculty can receive free coffee and get discounts at Hog Heaven. Faculty will also be able to purchase $5 Razorback Softball tickets for the game on Monday, April 6 (use promo code FACSTAFFSB).

In addition, faculty can enter drawings to win two suite tickets to attend the first home football game of the 2026 football season as Chancellor Robinson's guests and Razorback merchandise. Winners of these drawings will be notified on Monday, April 13.

University Recreation (UREC) will also be providing discounts and giveaways to faculty during the week including a 30% discount on all gear rentals (camping, climbing and paddling), student pricing on hybrid and mountain bike rentals and personal training, 10% off of an annual membership, and giveaways for gear rental (up to $80 in gear) and a InBody Screening. UREC also offers a free week-long pass for faculty who would like to try UREC's facilities before getting a membership.

The Wally Cordes Teaching Faculty and Support Center (TFSC), in partnership with the Student Well-Being Academic Toolkit Committee, will host a Faculty Wellness Art Experience on April 8 and 9. Faculty are invited to stop by for informal, creative art sessions designed to foster reflection, conversation, and connection around what well-being means in their work as educators. No prior art experience is needed. These events are also sponsored by a School of Art Fellowship. Times and locations for these events are listed in the schedule below.
