Established in 2011 by Thomas Eugene Baker, the Global Music Awards is a well-known international music competition celebrating independent musicians. The Global Music Awards have entrants from over 77 countries and feature music from every genre.

Also for Valencia, the book Perspectivas Sonoras: Seis Obras Para Ensamble de Percusión, which he helped co-author, will be released online on Thursday, March 26, at 3 p.m. There will be a live event to celebrate its release on Google Meet, and the event will include simultaneous AI translation.
