Spring Semester Innovative Pedagogy Expo March 19

On Thursday, March 19, the World Languages and Digital Humanities Studio will host the fourth Innovative Pedagogy Expo, a once-per-semester event that demonstrates innovative teaching tools to integrate into the classroom. Tools such as Padlet, Voyant, Kahoot!, Frame VR, podcasting and Unity have been showcased in previous expos. 

The Innovative Pedagogy Expo is a three- to four-station tabling setup, allowing presenters to showcase the tool in a lightning-style format to a small group of attendees. After approximately 10-15 minutes, each group moves to another table at the expo.  

The presentation lineup is as follows:  

• Kathy Comfort, "Creating a Medical Case Study in French With Artificial Intelligence" 

• Maria Comsa, "NotebookLM for Multimodal Learning Materials" 

• Michael Hall, "Videogames Belong in the Classroom" 

• Jenna Allemand, "NounTown for Language Learning" 

Join us on Thursday, March 19, at 3:30 p.m. in JBHT 207 to explore tools that can be used in the classroom or as a final project in class! The event is free and open to the campus community.
