CODA Lab Recruiting Undergraduate Research Assistants for Fall 2026

The Cognition of Depression and Anxiety (CODA) Lab is recruiting undergraduate research assistants for the fall 2026 semester.

Our lab uses psychophysiological methods, including event-related potentials (ERPs) and eye-tracking, to examine cognitive processes associated with affective disorders. Research assistants gain hands-on experience with these methods and contribute directly to ongoing studies. For more information about our work, please visit our website.

We value mentorship, and our research assistants have a strong record of presenting research at regional and national conferences. This experience provides strong preparation for students pursuing a wide range of clinical, research and health-related career paths. CODA Lab alumni have a strong history of acceptance into master's programs in counseling and social work, clinical psychology Ph.D. programs and medical school.

A commitment to two full three-hour shifts per week is required. Shifts are in-person and are scheduled Monday through Friday during the following times:

  • 8 - 11 a.m.
  • 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • 2 - 5 p.m.
