Former Razorback and NFL center Travis Swanson serves on the Student Affairs Executive Leadership Board (SAELB), bringing leadership whose reach spans the locker room, the boardroom — and now the student experience.
A four-year starter, two-time All-American, team captain and holder of a school record for 50 consecutive starts, Swanson anchored the Razorbacks before being drafted 76th overall in the 2014 NFL Draft. He went on to play five seasons with the Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins.
Today, as a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and Wealth Management Certified Professional® (WMCP®) with Camienne Financial, Swanson helps high-achieving clients nationwide, with a focus on guiding football players through the evolving NIL landscape and professional sports. On a recent visit to campus, Swanson spoke with students and Razorback football players, sharing lessons on preparation, resilience and building a life beyond the game.
His return to Fayetteville is a powerful reminder that leadership developed here continues to give back — strengthening the student experience today and into the future.
The SAELB brings together alumni, parents, community leaders and professionals dedicated to advancing programs and services that help U of A students thrive personally, socially and academically.
