Early voting for the 2026 preferential primary and non-partisan judicial, school and city elections has started at limited locations in Arkansas and will conclude this weekend. The general primary voting will be March 3.
Where to Vote Early
The state of Arkansas provides an individualized search for registered Arkansas voters to look up other early-voting poll sites in their home county and a link to a sample ballot for their precinct of registration.
What to Bring to Vote
You need to bring a valid photo ID, such as:
- Driver's license issued by state of Arkansas
- Student ID with photo issued by a postsecondary educational institution located in Arkansas
- U.S. passport
Reminders
- Check your voter registration status through vote.org. It is too late to register for this spring primary, but you can pursue registration for the fall general election via your county clerk's office.
- Leave political campaign paraphernalia such as posters, stickers, buttons, clothing, etc., at home. Campaign materials are not allowed within 100 feet of the primary entrance to a polling site.
The U of A Staff Senate also maintains a deeper dive with important dates in the coming year, links to voter registration tools, and employee rights, such as taking time from work to vote.
