U of A Transit and Parking Services is excited to announce it has adopted ParkMobile as its mobile payment provider for all pay-to-park options on campus.
The transition to ParkMobile aligns with the City of Fayetteville, which also uses ParkMobile, creating a better parking experiencing both in the city and on campus.
ParkMobile allows users to pay for more customizable time increments instead of solely by the hour. The app offers payment in 15-minute increments, granting drivers more flexibility and efficiency when paying for parking.
The university previously utilized Flowbird for paid parking on campus, which will no longer be available for campus parking payments starting Feb. 28, 2026.
Drivers can download the ParkMobile app, sign up for ParkMobile and find U of A parking zones available for payment. ParkMobile also offers a text-to-pay option with instructions available on signage.
Updated signage will replace all existing pay-to-park signs to reflect the change.
More information about parking payments on campus is available on the Transit and Parking website.
The implementation of ParkMobile is one aspect of the university's "Ride the Vibe" campaign to both improve and provide more education on Transit and Parking Services.
