The Service Learning Initiative is excited to announce their upcoming spring ceremony to honor the outstanding community partners, classes and students that make experiential learning at the U of A a success.
All are invited to submit nominations in the below categories by March 1:
This ceremony will take place from 4-6 p.m. Monday, April 6, in the Walker Community Room of the Fayetteville Public Library. Faculty, staff, students and community partners are invited to attend and are asked to RSVP by March 23. Light fare and beverages will be served. Childcare will also be available.
Recipients of the John and Trudy Sher International Service Learning Scholarship will also be recognized at this event to celebrate their involvement in Service Learning opportunities abroad.
The annual Outstanding Contributions to Service Learning Teaching Award Ceremony will take place in fall 2026 and will recognize the 2025-26 Service Learning faculty award recipient. The awardee will be selected by the SLI Committee.
Recipients of all awards will be notified during the week of March 9.
