Employees Can Now Designate Final Wage Beneficiary in Workday

Employees are encouraged to designate a final wage beneficiary in Workday in the event of their death while employed by the University of Arkansas. 

By designating a final wage beneficiary, a deceased employee's final wage payment and any unused annual leave will go directly to the recipient of the employee's choosing. This is a simple but important step to provide peace of mind to employees and their families. 

University employees can now log in to Workday to designate their final wage beneficiary. Instructions for designating the beneficiary will be included within the Workday task. The beneficiary can be changed at any time by submitting a new form. 

Once the employee completes the designation or chooses not to make a designation, they should submit the task to remove it from their inbox. It will not be automatically removed.
