Online business bachelor’s degree programs offered by the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas ranked among the Top 10 in the nation, according to 2026 rankings for “Best Online Programs” by U.S. News & World Report.
The business bachelor’s degree programs were ranked No. 9 nationally.
Other U of A online programs ranked highly in other categories: overall bachelor’s, graduate engineering, graduate nursing and graduate education programs. Online programs offered by U of A academic colleges are showcased on the U of A ONLINE website.

Offering online programs is critical to the U of A’s land-grant mission to serve all of Arkansas because they open access to working adults and others who cannot come to campus. U of A academic colleges ensure high-quality standards for more than 100 online degree, certificate and licensure programs.
U.S. News evaluated more than 1,800 online bachelor’s and master’s degree programs using metrics specific to online learning to provide online programs rankings, according to its news release.
U of A online bachelor’s degree programs overall ranked 69th among 349 institutions and 58th among public universities. These programs ranked 42nd in the subcategory of best online bachelor’s programs for veterans. Business programs were ranked separately in a subcategory.
The U of A’s 17 bachelor’s programs are offered by the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences; the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences; the College of Education and Health Professions; and the Sam M. Walton College of Business.
graduate engineering programs
The College of Engineering’s online master’s degree programs ranked 38th among 111 institutions and 31st among public institutions. These programs ranked 21st in the subcategory of best online master’s programs for veterans.
The college offers master’s programs in engineering, electrical engineering and engineering management.
graduate nursing programs
The Master of Science in Nursing program offered by the Eleanor Mann School of Nursing in the College of Education and Health Professions ranked No. 101 among 201 institutions and 71st among public universities.
graduate education programs
Master’s programs offered by the College of Education and Health Professions ranked 125th among 323 institutions and 99th among public universities.
The college offers Master of Education degree programs in adult and lifelong learning, community college leadership, educational leadership, educational technology, physical education, special education and teaching English to speakers of other languages.
