This January, the Department of English is happy to announce our first annual reading recommendations list. From a survey taken of our faculty in the late fall of 2025, we have put together a list of novels, short stories, essays and even graphic novels for anyone looking for new reads in the new year.
We hope that if you've decided that 2026 will be a year of more reading and reflection that you'll take our list of suggestions into account as you curate your reading list for the year.
