Partial Closure of Maple Street During Winter Break

As part of the Maple Street Safety Improvement project set for completion next summer, crews will be relocating a gas line that will result in a lane closure on Maple Street from Dec. 15 to Jan 2.

The westbound lane of Maple Street will be closed between Leverett Avenue to Garland Avenue while the work takes place. Signage will be placed at the site to help direct drivers to the detour route.

This utility work will help crews maintain on schedule for Phase Two of the Maple Street Improvement project, which is expected to be completed by the end of summer 2026.
