A Celebration of Holiday Magic and Global Ballet Excellence
Join Clara on her enchanting Christmas Eve adventure as her beloved Nutcracker comes to life, defeats the Mouse King and carries her through a dazzling snowstorm to the Land of Sweets. Set to Tchaikovsky's iconic score, audiences will be swept away by the "Waltz of the Flowers," "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" and "Waltz of the Snowflakes."
"The Nutcracker is not just a ballet—it's a tradition that brings generations together," says Artem Yachmennikov, artistic director of the tour and graduate of the Vaganova Ballet Academy, former principal dancer of the Bolshoi Theatre, San Francisco Ballet and Dutch National Ballet. "We want every child in the audience to feel inspired, to dream and to believe in the magic of art."
Community Involvement through the We Dance Program
Under the direction of Producer Ekaterina Yachmennikova, Classical Arts Entertainment continues its mission to unite professional ballet with community engagement through the We Dance Program—a nationwide initiative connecting over 50 partner studios across North America.
The program gives young dancers ages 5 and up the opportunity to rehearse under professional guidance and perform side by side with the International Ballet Stars.
"In every city we visit, we see children's eyes light up when they step on stage for the first time," Yachmennikova says. "This experience allows them to imagine their own future in the arts—and that is what keeps ballet alive for the next generation."
An Unforgetable Holiday Experience
"When creating The Nutcracker, our goal was to give audiences an immersive fairy-tale experience that rekindles their belief in miracles," adds Tour Producer Michael Art. "We all need a touch of magic in our lives—especially during the holidays." With its sweeping choreography, exquisite costumes and the timeless brilliance of Tchaikovsky's score, The Nutcracker by International Ballet Stars promises to be a breathtaking celebration of beauty, artistry and holiday joy.
