University Recreation and Wellness Launches Student Wellness Survey
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University Recreation and Wellness at the University of Arkansas is currently conducting a survey on student wellness to help guide future programming, services and support across campus.
Wellness is an active process through which people become aware of and make choices toward a more successful existence. It includes physical, emotional, social, spiritual, occupational, financial, intellectual and environmental dimensions.
The survey takes about 30 minutes to complete and includes questions about students' overall wellness and well-being. Responses will help guide how the university continues to promote a healthy, supportive environment for the campus community.
While taking the survey, students may benefit from the opportunity to pause and assess their well-being. Upon completing the survey, participants will also receive information about on-campus wellness resources available to support their needs.
As an added incentive, students who complete the survey will be entered into a random drawing to win one of twelve $20 Amazon gift cards. The drawing will take place before the end of the fall 2025 semester, and selected participants will be notified by email.
"This survey is one of several initiatives focused on promoting a holistic wellness and well-being experience on campus," said Kristin DeAngelo, executive director for University Recreation and Wellness. "Student feedback will help us create and design programs that make a meaningful difference for students."
Students can complete the survey using the provided link or by contacting Casey Fant at cfant@uark.edu. Participants will be asked to log in with their University of Arkansas credentials.
