"Come Musica: The Power of Music in Education." Presentation and Concert by Italian-German Singer-Songwriter Teo Bok

The Italian Program in collaboration with the Professor Antonio Marinoni and Rosa Zagnoni Marioni Endowed Chair in Italian, the Instituto di cultura Italiana of San Francisco and Chicago, and the Consulate of Italy in Houston are excited to welcome Teo Bok to campus on Monday Oct. 27. The event is from 5:30-7 p.m. in Giffels Auditorium (Old Main 201). The presentation will be in English and Teo will sing in Italian, English, and Spanish. This event is part of the 25th annual Week of the Italian Language in the World.

Teo Bok is a young singer-songwriter born in Milan now on a North American tour that is bringing him to various high schools and universities across the continent. Through listening to and analyzing some of the great classics of music, Teo takes students on a musical journey that stimulates their curiosity about the Italian language and culture, encouraging learning in an engaging and creative way.
