U of A Launches First Employee Engagement Survey
The U of A is launching its first Employee Engagement Survey this fall as part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing our status as an employer of choice.
The survey, administered by McLean & Company, an independent HR research firm, replaces the Campus Climate Survey previously used to gather employee feedback. It is designed to help university leadership better understand faculty and staff experiences and identify opportunities to strengthen workplace culture, recognize performance and ensure employees feel valued.
Employee feedback gathered through initiatives such as the Employee Value Proposition survey and the 150 Forward Progress Update has already helped shape programs and policies aimed at improving the university. The new engagement survey builds on those efforts by providing a more focused and actionable view of the employee experience.
Faculty, staff, graduate assistants and student workers will receive an email from McLean & Company (survey@mcleanco.com) in the coming days with a personal link to participate. The survey takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete and will remain open through Oct. 31.
Key Details
- Confidentiality: All responses are confidential. McLean & Company will only share aggregate results with the university. No individual responses or raw data will be accessible to university personnel.
- Survey Format: The survey is brief and designed to be completed in one sitting.
- Contact: Questions about the survey can be directed to McLean & Company at survey@mcleanco.com.
University leadership encourages all employees to participate and share their honest feedback. The results will help guide future investments in people and contribute to the university's continued progress towards its mission.
