Rapert and Zajicek Appointed to Walton Arts Center Foundation Board
Molly Rapert, director of the Center for Teaching Effectiveness and associate professor of marketing, and Anna Zajicek, vice provost for Faculty Affairs and professor of sociology, have joined the Walton Arts Center Foundation Board. Rapert and Zajicek will help oversee the invested funds of the state's largest nonprofit performing arts center, which serves more than 375,000 visitors each year.
Their appointment continues the U of A's longstanding connection to the Dickson Street landmark. The university, the City of Fayetteville and the Walton Family Foundation played key roles in establishing the center, which opened in 1992. All three continue providing various forms of support, including nominating qualified individuals to serve on the center's council and foundation boards.
Other U of A employees currently serving on the Walton Performing Arts Center's boards include Barry Bryan, Joel Freund, Laura Jacobs, Susan Slinkard, Rick Thorpe, Matt Waller and Danielle Williams.
