The latest edition of A+, the Honors College magazine, is now available. This year's issue opens with  "The Next Rep: Preparing Student-Athletes for Success Beyond the Field," spotlighting Path Scholar and honors sports management major Jaylan Brown. Brown's groundbreaking research empowers student-athletes to build their personal brands and prepare for life after sports.

This issue also celebrates the generosity of Honors College faculty members whose gifts, rooted in family history, strengthen support for the Path Program and empowers future scholars to thrive.

Inside, you'll meet alumni who transformed their honors experiences into creative and impactful careers from writing bestselling books and applying historical insights to improve healthcare in Arkansas to testing autonomous racing vehicles at the Arctic Circle.

Current scholars also take center stage as they:

  • Unearth humanities stories from local archives;

  • Create imaginative art that blends technical skill with creativity;

  • Launch nonprofits to improve hospital communication;

  • Combine science and communication to develop patented water purification technology;

  • Analyze school choice trends and their impact on education reform in Arkansas;

  • Design adaptive clothing to improve comfort and accessibility for ALS patients;

  • Rebrand small towns by blending architecture, marketing and storytelling; and

  • Guide third graders through hands-on paleontology activities, sparking curiosity and learning.

Explore these stories and more in the 2025-26 issue of A+.
