This course title, "The Mob in Fiction: Literary & Cinematic Portrayals," critically explores literary and filmic representations of the Italian Mafia, focusing on organizations such as Cosa Nostra (Sicily), Camorra (Naples) and 'Ndrangheta (Calabria), and their complex ties to state institutions in both Italian and American contexts.
