The Service Learning Initiative invites students, faculty and advisers to join us at a series of upcoming events designed to highlight how service learning can enrich your academic experience and connect classroom learning to real-world impact. 

Lunch and Learn – Honors Focus 

• Date & Time: Wednesday, Sept. 17, noon to 1 p.m. 

• Location: GEAR 258 

• Details: Honors students are invited to enjoy a free lunch while learning how to earn credit through service learning courses. Discover upcoming course offerings, see how service learning enhances academic and professional growth, and find ways to turn your education into action. Advisers and faculty are welcome! Lunch and beverages provided.

Honors Recess 

• Date & Time: Thursday, Sept. 18, 3-4 p.m. 

• Location: GEAR 130 

• Details: Stop by the Service Learning Initiative table during this weekly Honors College event. Pick up Service Learning swag, ask questions and learn how experiential learning can strengthen your degree. This is a drop-in event (no RSVP required). 

Experiential Learning Fair 

• Date & Time: Wednesday, Sept. 24, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

• Location: ARKU Connections Lounge 

• Details: Explore a wide range of experiential learning opportunities, including Service Learning, Study Abroad, the Venture Internship Program and the Honors College Futures Hub. Network with campus partners, discover resources and learn how to boost your résumé through hands-on experiences.
