One Day, One U of A to Return April 9, 2026
The Division of University Advancement has announced the return of One Day, One U of A on April 9, 2026. This will be the second year for the 24-hour giving day, which brings bold ideas to life, enhances the student experience and strengthens the campus, community and state. The crowdfunding format encourages supporters to contribute directly to specific projects that resonate with them.
The application process is open for faculty, staff and students interested in launching a project for the 2026 event. Project applications are due by Nov. 1, 2025, and selected teams will be announced in December 2025. At least one project will be chosen from each college, school and unit, but multiple projects can be submitted and selected. Successful projects will be featured on a dedicated crowdfunding platform where they will seek support from alumni, friends and the wider community.
"One Day, One U of A continues the tradition of celebrating the collective generosity of the campus and community, as well as the power of collaboration among those who love the University of Arkansas," said Scott Varady, vice chancellor for university advancement. "It's inspiring to see projects come to life because passionate teams step forward to lead and connect with dedicated alumni and friends."
