The International and Global Studies Program at the U of A is excited to welcome students, faculty and staff to its annual fall tradition: "Caffè with Calabretta." Scheduled for 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, in the International Studies Office (Old Main 517), this casual, come-and-go event offers a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful conversation over coffee and refreshments.
Hosted by the International Studies Program and Professor Calabretta-Sajder, "Caffè with Calabretta" is more than just a coffee break — it's a chance to explore global ideas, connect across cultures and learn more about the vibrant academic community within International and Global Studies. Whether you're a long-time international studies student, a newcomer curious about global affairs or simply someone who enjoys great conversation and refreshments, all are welcome.
Attendees can expect free coffee, cookies and other refreshments, along with engaging discussion and a chance to meet faculty, ask questions about the program and learn more about global opportunities on campus and beyond.
The event is designed to be informal and welcoming, so there's no need to RSVP. Whether you stay for five minutes or the full two hours, you're guaranteed a warm atmosphere, thoughtful conversation and maybe even a new perspective on the world.
