Volunteer With VAC's Food Recovery & Pantry Programs
Razorback Food Recovery
By connecting sustainability with service, Razorback Food Recovery (RFR) transforms extra food into meaningful support for those who need it most. It's a simple but powerful way to help both people and the planet.
RFR works with campus dining services and local retail partners to rescue surplus food before it goes to waste. That food is then redistributed to our Razorback community through Full Circle Food Pantry and also community organizations like the Salvation Army and 7Hills Homeless Center.
As a student volunteer, you'll address food insecurity in NWA and work towards making our campus more sustainable. Whether you're recovering food on campus, picking up donations from our grocery partners or distributing items to community partners, your efforts play a vital role in our operations!

Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Food Pantry
The Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Food Pantry supports our U of A community by providing access to hygiene items, shelf-stable foods, fresh produce, snacks and more. We're open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and have a locker system which makes orders accessible anytime!
We can't do it alone and that's where you come in! Our pantry needs 80 student volunteers a semester to run its operations.
As a student volunteer, you'll help nourish bodies, empower minds and build a more compassionate campus community. Whether you're stocking shelves, filling client orders, processing donations, tending the garden or making food deliveries, your time and effort will directly support your campus community.
