U of A students, staff, faculty and alumni! Start the semester off right and join the University Museum staff from 6-8 p.m. this Saturday, Aug. 16, for a free and fun evening with the U of A Museum's popular collections open house, snacks and fun activities!

It's also an opportunity to learn about the University Museum's resources for research and learning. From meteorites and dinosaurs to ancient Roman coins and first computers, the collections hold potential for a variety of disciplines, interests and experiences.

A number of awesome community partners will be at the event, including the U of A Honors College, the U of A Libraries' Special Collections, the Arkansas Archeological Survey and more!

The museum is located in the U of A Collection Facility at 2471 N. Hatch Ave. Parking is free, and a free shuttle from main campus to the event will be provided at the Hotz Hall Bus Loop (1200 Cleveland St.). The shuttle will run from 5:45-8:30 p.m. It will make roundtrip stops every 15-20 minutes. The final shuttle will leave the event at 8:15 p.m.

Registration is appreciated, but not required and does not reserve anything at the event.
