The team, made up of students from the Department of Crop, Soil and Environmental Sciences, finished No. 21 overall, including No. 12 in the nation in the team-judged-pit portion of the contest.

The team, coached by University Professor of applied soil physics and pedology Kristofor Brye and assisted by Jonathan Brye, includes Zulema Barrera, Isabel Brickner, Cario Cano, Noah Solomon and Abby Villeneuve. All are students in the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences.

The finals were hosted by the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point on April 27 to May 2.

Arkansas finished second in Region IV earlier this year to qualify for the finals for the 13th time in 15 years.
