Named in honor of Hugh T. Henry, the founding director of the M.P.A. program at the U of A, this memorial scholarship recognizes outstanding academic achievement, leadership and a commitment to public service. Professor Henry's legacy laid the foundation for public administration education in Arkansas, and this award continues to celebrate students who embody his vision of ethical and impactful governance.

Nyoni is a Fulbright Scholar and Gosack Fellow from Zambia, pursuing an M.P.A. and nonprofit studies. Her work centers on inclusive policy implementation, social equity and community resilience.

Outside the classroom, he plays indoor soccer in a Bentonville league and enjoys biking throughout Northwest Arkansas.
"It means a lot to receive this award. It serves as a recognition of all the hard work I've put in during graduate school and leading up to it," Guegan said. "I would like to thank my parents for supporting me, my adviser Dr. Geoboo Song for guiding me through the program and Dr. Jarred Cuellar, who inspired me to pursue the M.P.A. in the first place."
