Yearly Academic Award Winners, Ambassadors Honored by Bumpers College

Cason Frisby in food science, with Dean Jeff Edwards, was recognized as a Bumpers College ambassador and as the college's Presidential Scholar.
Nine students in five different majors in U of A's Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences received nine annual academic awards from the college at its annual student honors and awards reception.
Students recognized include:
- Presidential Scholar – Cason Frisby, food science
- Dale Bumpers Distinguished Scholars
- Ph.D: Tristen Avent, crop, soil and environmental sciences
- Masters: Eniola Ola, food science
- Undergraduate Transfer: Dallis Beverlin, agricultural education, communication and technology
- John W. White Outstanding Student – Sally Hamm, human development and family sciences
- Spitze Public Policy Legislative Internship Award – Riley Swofford, agricultural education, communication and technology
- Stanley E. Reed Internship Award – Reese Mitchell, agricultural education, communication and technology
- Bumpers College Alumni Society Rising Senior Award – Ashley Rivera, animal science
- Bumpers College Alumni Society Scholarship – Jasma Holland, human development and family sciences
The college also recognized its ambassadors for 2024-25. The group works both on-campus and off-campus recruiting events, assisting with Dean's Office and college-wide events, serving as representatives of the college, connecting with students, assisting in other recruiting functions and sharing the philosophy and benefits of enrollment in the college to prospective students, parents and alumni.

- Abby Lunn, food science
- Leah Martin, human nutrition and dietetics
- Esther Moore, environmental, soil and water science
- Colten Nichols, crop science
- Thomas Owings, agricultural education, communication and technology
- Ashley Rivera, animal science
- Taylor Schubauer, poultry science
- Maxwell Smiley, agricultural business
- Logan Smith, human development and family sciences
- Molly Stephenson, apparel merchandising and product development
- Josh Uptigrove, agricultural education, communication and technology
- Karley Williams, agricultural education, communication and technology.
They were recognized at a reception on April 17 at the Don Tyson Center for Agricultural Sciences.
