Eleanor Mann School of Nursing Now Accepting L.P.N. to B.S.N. Applications From Five States
The Eleanor Mann School of Nursing's L.P.N. to B.S.N. program is now accepting applications from residents of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Alabama and Texas.
The program allows licensed practical nurses to use their credentials for a more flexible Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree path. It features a completely online, part-time format that can be completed in approximately three years. All practicum courses can be completed in the student's own geographic area using a preceptor model. Fall and spring semester starts are available for qualified applicants.
The admission process for the L.P.N. to B.S.N. program is two-step. Applicants must first apply to the U of A and choose the Pre-LNBN degree path. After meeting with an academic adviser to establish preparedness for the L.P.N. to B.S.N. program, applicants may submit their application to the nursing program for the next available term. The two-step process may be completed in one semester if all prerequisites have been met, or it may take a few semesters to complete all nursing prerequisites.
The application deadline for fall 2025 admission into the L.P.N. to B.S.N. program is July 15. Applicants must first complete their U of A application by these deadlines:
Deadlines for students needing prerequisite courses:
- Spring - Dec. 20
- Fall - July 15
- Summer - April 15
Deadline for nursing-ready students (no prerequisites needed):
- Fall - July 15
- No spring or summer admissions
Licensed practical nurses interested in advancing their education and career are encouraged to apply before the July 15 deadline for fall 2025 admission. More information about the application process can be found on the Eleanor Mann School of Nursing website.
