School of Art to Host Student Spring Art Market at Studio and Design Center
The School of Art in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences will host their school-wide Spring Art Market, Saturday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Studio and Design Center. The Spring Art Market features artwork available for purchase from art and design students and registered student organizations.
All are invited to come to the Spring Art Market that features original works by School of Art students in a variety of art in various mediums and media areas, including ceramics, design, drawings, paintings, photography, printmaking and much more.
"We are excited to welcome the community to the Studio and Design Center once again for the Spring Art Market," said Donna Jones, director of recruitment and outreach. "The market showcases the vibrant talent of our students as emerging artists and designers, while teaching and developing their skill sets as entrepreneurs and in customer relations."
Coffee and refreshments will be available for purchase throughout the day at Artsaga's in the main lobby where students set up their individual shops for all to explore.
The Studio and Design Center is located in the Windgate Art and Design District at Hill Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard in south Fayetteville. Free parking is available in the lots at 744 South Hill Avenue.
