Cadence on Campus: U of A Power Group Hosts Event for Researchers and Innovators
The U of A Power Group will host Cadence on Campus on April 15.
Faculty, students and researchers eager to explore Cadence's tool offering and engage with the Cadence team are all invited.
Cadence will be on campus to discuss how its tools are being used in research and teaching curriculum supporting workforce development. They will also explore areas of collaboration and partnerships with the university. The event kicks off with a brief welcome and an overview of Cadence and its products (tools), followed by the opportunity to explore collaborative research possibilities with faculty.
The day will end with a student networking event.
Cadence's tools support a variety of research areas, including:
- Computational fluid dynamics
- Meshing and solvers
- Digital twinning
- Thermal/liquid modelling
- IC cooling and chiplet cooling
- Electronic Design Automation (EDA)
- IC design advances and verification
- Hardware design security
- AI-assisted process node porting of designs (usage of LLMs or other methodologies)
- Molecular simulations
The event will be held at Cato Springs Research Center at 1475 W. Cato Springs Rd., room 122. Parking is free. Lunch and snacks are provided. Please email KarinA@uark.edu for more information and to RSVP. RSVP is not required but highly encouraged to ensure enough food is provided for everyone.
