In its 2025 ranking, U.S. News & World Report listed the Master of Business Administration program from the University of Arkansas' Sam M. Walton College of Business as the 24th Best Business School among public business colleges in the nation and 50th (tie) in its combined public and private list, an increase of 24 spots.

U.S. News & World Report also ranked the Walton College’s M.B.A. supply chain track eighth best among public MBA programs and 11th overall (tied).

“We are extremely proud of the Walton M.B.A. program's advancement in national rankings," said Brent Williams, dean of the Walton College. "Our dedication to delivering exceptional business education, combined with our commitment to innovation and engagement with industry partners, continues to strengthen the reputation of our M.B.A. program."

To determine the ranking, U.S. News surveyed 506 graduate business programs accredited by AASCB International, an American professional and accreditation organization for business schools, widely considered the gold standard of business accreditations. The publication reviewed assessments from peer business school deans, directors of M.B.A. programs and corporate recruiters. It also examined graduates’ employment placement and earnings, as well as student selectivity for admissions.

"This leap in the rankings affirms what our alumni, students and industry partners already know — the Walton M.B.A. delivers a transformative experience that prepares graduates for immediate career success," said Adam Stoverink, executive director of Walton M.B.A. programs and associate professor of management. "By emphasizing rigorous academics, leadership development and a rich, dynamic learning environment, we are equipping our students with the tools needed to excel in the marketplace and drive meaningful impact on business and society.”
