Tickets Still Available for Hunter and Tara-Davis Woodhall Moderated Q&A Wednesday
Olympic power couple Hunter Woodhall and Tara Davis-Woodhall will deliver a moderated question and answer session as part of a collaboration between the Distinguished Lectures Committee and Associated Student Government Mental Health Team at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, at the Fayetteville Town Center (15 W. Mountain St., Fayetteville).
Tickets are still available on HogSync to attend in person. Anyone can reserve a ticket to attend.
A livestream will also be available on the UA Productions YouTube Channel. After Spring Break, there will be a recording available for students, faculty and staff at the U of A at video.uark.edu for 30 days post-lecture. A uark.edu login will be required.
Davis-Woodhall and Woodhall competed for the USA in the 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics, respectively. Davis-Woodhall won gold in the long jump and, in the now viral moment, ran straight to her husband (Woodhall) in the stands to celebrate. Woodhall competed in the Paralympics a month later and won gold in the 400m and bronze in the 4x100m Universal Relay. Hunter Woodhall is alum of the U of A.
The couple have built a following on social media, amassing over 9 million followers. They have been featured by numerous media outlets including ESPN, New York Times, CNN, Ellen and Good Morning America. Additionally, they have a successful speaking business, sharing their story of adversity and resilience with individuals, audiences and organizations. The couple was listed on Forbes 30 under 30 (Sports) list in 2025.
