This week is all about both encouraging students and faculty across the U of A to achieve 10 hours of service for VAC membership and understanding the importance of the service that you're providing. HogSync Events for GY10 Week
March 11 — PAL Spelling Bee. Come by Gearhart Auditorium on March 11 at 6 p.m. to join Passionate About Literacy and Student Engagement's second annual spelling bee for GY10 Week! Attendees have the chance to participate in or watch an entertaining spelling bee event for the chance to win prizes and bragging rights. There will also be Chick-fil-A provided to attendees. This event will also incorporate a book drive, where attendees can donate their unused books for service hours (two books = one service hour). Sign up here: https://cglink.me/2uB/r390923

The Volunteer Action Center is a student-led organization that connects students at the U of A to service opportunities on and off campus. The VAC seeks to foster a positive relationship between students at the U of A and the Northwest Arkansas community through its six signature programs: Be BOLD, Dream BIG, the Jane B.
